EPRD - German Arthroplasty Registry

The German Arthroplasty Registry (EPRD) is a joint project of surgeons, hospitals, health insurance providers and implant manufacturers. As a voluntary medical registry, it has been collecting data on hip and knee implants for 12 years, systematically linking this with routine data and analyzing the information regarding the quality of the implants and arthroplasty procedures. This enables the EPRD to make reliable statements on the quality of arthroplasty procedures and identify potential for improvement.
